Personal data that we process

Testersuite B.V. processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself. This includes the following data:

• First and last name
• Phone number
• Email address
• IP address
• Information about your activities on our website
• Web browser and device type

Data in your Testersuite environment. The data that your organization records in Testersuite is and remains the property of your organization. Your organization is the data controller for that data, and Testersuite acts as the data processor. The terms regarding this are set forth in the agreement (SLA) with your organization. Without your organization’s permission, Testersuite will never view, modify, or delete this data.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities. This helps prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. Do you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent? Please contact us at info@testersuite.nl. We will then delete this data.

For what purpose and on the basis of which basis do we process personal data?

• Processing your payment and issuing invoices. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and legal obligation (tax records).
• To allow you to create an account and provide Testersuite . Legal basis: performance of the agreement.
• To call or email you if necessary for the provision of our services. Legal basis: performance of the agreement.
• Processing your request via the website (demo, consultation, contact, white paper, or checklist). Legal basis: consent and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• To inform you about changes to our services and products. Legal basis: legitimate interest (providing good service to our customers).
• Sending our newsletter. Legal basis: consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each newsletter.
• Analyzing website visits to improve the website and our offerings. Legal basis: consent via the cookie notice.

How Long We Retain Personal Data

Testersuite B.V. does not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We apply the following retention periods:

• Invoices and financial records: 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention requirement.
• Account information and data in your Testersuite environment: for the duration of the agreement, and for 1 month thereafter. Backups are automatically overwritten after 21 days.
• Data from contact and inquiry forms: 12 months after the last contact, if no agreement is reached.
• Newsletter information: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data (Google Analytics): 12 months.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Testersuite Testersuite B.V. does not sell your data to third parties. We only disclose it when necessary to fulfill our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with parties that process data on our behalf. This ensures the same level of security and confidentiality. B.V. remains responsible for these processing activities.

We work with the following categories of data processors:

• Hosting of the Testersuite application: Cyso, in data centers in Amsterdam. Cyso is certified to ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and SOC 2 Type 1. The data in your Testersuite environment always remains in the Netherlands.
• Website hosting: Webflow
• Customer Relationship Management and Email Communication: Pipedrive
• Website Analysis: Google Analytics and Leadfeeder

Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use

Testersuite B.V. uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website.

Functional cookies ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are saved. We use analytical cookies to measure how the website is used so that we can improve it. We also use cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer personalized content and ads.

When you first visit our website, we will inform you about these cookies and ask for your consent to place them. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your web browser so that it no longer stores cookies. You can also delete all previously stored information through your browser settings.

Your Rights

You can send a request to info@testersuite.nl. If we have any doubts about whether the request is actually from you, we will ask you to verify your identity. We will respond as soon as possible, no later than four weeks.

How we secure personal data

Testersuite B.V. is certified to ISO 27001 and NEN 7510. Among other things, we take the following measures:

• All data sent to and from Testersuite is encrypted using SSL/HTTPS.
• Passwords are stored in encrypted form (hashed).
• Each customer has their own secure database.
• Backups are created twice every 24 hours and stored in encrypted form at a physically separate location.
• Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available to all users.
• Every year, we have a specialized company conduct a penetration test.
• Our hosting partner monitors the platform 24/7 and protects it against DDoS attacks.

Do you have a complaint?

Do you feel that your data is not properly secured, or are there signs of misuse? If so, please contact us at info@testersuite.nl. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data or your complaint, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the national supervisory authority. You can do so via this link.

Automated decision-making

Testersuite Testersuite B.V. does not make decisions based on automated processing regarding matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals. This refers to decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention (for example, by an employee of B.V.).
