On Tuesday afternoon, September 8, Testersuite organized the annual meeting for Testersuite users and administrators. In addition to a substantive program that focused on the upcoming Testersuite 4 release, there was ample opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with other Testersuite users.
Retrospective 2014
After the opening, there was a joint review of the outcome of the 2014 meeting. An important point here was the customer wishes that were put forward at the time by the users present. Most of these wishes have since been realized and will become available with the release of Testersuite 4.
Testersuite 4
The rollout of Testersuite 4 will begin on Friday, September 18. Given the scope of this 'major' release, an extensive explanation of how the conversion process will take place has been provided. After this explanation, the most important changes were shown in an extensive live demo. Particular attention was paid to the flexibility in customizing, the renewed list screens and the entirely new design of the Masterlist. As of Monday, September 21, all customers will have access to Testersuite 4.
Customer requirements
The development agenda of Testersuite is largely influenced by users' wishes. The user meeting plays a key role in this, by giving those present the opportunity to make their wishes known. Those present were also asked to prioritize the intended developments. These priorities will be included in the further development process of the upcoming releases.
Annual event
After the formal part, there was an extensive after-dinner discussion over a snack and a drink. The exchange of knowledge and experience between the various organisations present once again proved valuable.
