The other day I was asked by someone why Testersuite is so successful. The answer to that is pretty simple: Testersuite is made by testers! Read the conversation I recently had with an astute test manager here.
You are testers
The other day I was asked by someone why Testersuite is so successful. The answer to that is pretty simple: Testersuite was created by testers! The person who asked me the question looked at me thoughtfully for two seconds. Her response was both spot on and explanatory:of course you have a background as test consultants, you are testers. I couldn't have explained it better to her myself.
When you work from your own DNA, you have a very clear goal in mind. In the case of Testersuite , that is to make testing better, smarter and easier, my interlocutor responded. Again, the nail on the head. Testers who work with Testersuite recognize this in the tool.
The perspicacity of my interlocutor was remarkable. So the less you know about testing, the more likely you are to fall into the trap of so-called wannabes! How exactly do you mean that, I asked her. Well, there are always copycats who are driven by money. Or copycats who want to hitch a ride without having a vision themselves. If you choose one of those tools, it can be expensive. I replied in the affirmative, unfortunately I do indeed encounter this.
Do they switch?
Real testers recognize when a tool is built on testers' DNA. Or they find out quickly - she complemented me. Are there ever testers who switch to Testersuite after the wrong tool choice - she continued. Indeed, this happens with some regularity. Just call it learning on the job. That way you can also build up experience in testing. The Testersuite Team is happy to help these customers. No problem at all. Ultimately, we want everyone to test smarter, better and easier. That is our DNA, it will never go away. Nice of you to stick to your convictions - my partner responded - that makes me happy as a customer. I will talk to you again soon on the customer afternoon - this test manager ended the conversation.
This conversation reverberated in my head for a while. Authenticity, originality and purity always appear to be the best recipe for success. Also for test tooling.
